Privacy Policy
Last updated: 30 July 2026.
TuneTrip (tunetrip.app) helps you discover live gigs, follow artists, and plan trips to shows. This policy explains what we collect and your choices. Using the app without signing in stores nothing on our servers — your preferences live only in your browser.
What we collect
- Account — your email address, when you sign in with a magic link (handled by our auth provider, Supabase).
- Your lists & preferences — followed artists, saved and hidden gigs, followed genres/regions, home location, trip distance, and budget, so they sync across your devices.
- Spotify (only if you connect it) — we read your followed and top artists to import them as favourites, and store the access tokens Spotify issues so you can re-sync. You can disconnect at any time, which deletes those tokens.
- Alerts — if you opt in, we send email digests and record when we last emailed you (to avoid repeats).
We do notcollect payment details, and we don't sell your data or use third-party advertising trackers.
Why, and who processes it
We use your data only to provide the service — syncing your lists, importing favourites, and sending the alerts you asked for. It's processed by a small set of providers on our behalf: Supabase (database & auth), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email), and Spotify (only if you connect it). Gig, flight, and hotel data come from sources like Ticketmaster and Duffel, which don't receive your personal data.
Cookies
We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in. No analytics or advertising cookies.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from alerts— via the link in any digest email, or by turning off “Alert emails” in Settings.
- Disconnect Spotify — in Settings; removes the stored tokens.
- Export your data— Settings → “Download my data” gives you a JSON file of everything your account holds.
- Delete your account and all data — Settings → “Delete account”. This permanently removes your account and everything tied to it.
